Breakfast at Tiffany’s: NYFW Day 5

For my last look from NYFW I was feeling a little inspired by Audrey Hepburn. I glammed it up with metallic accents and had to wear my favorite coat! Maybe my favorite thrift find ever, this beauty is from a tiny shop that I can’t remember the name (sorry…) of in Savannah, Georgia. How bad ass is this baby? Military and houndstooth? Yes please!I also found the dress underneath on consignment. With the tags on. Original price: $395, I paid: $80. Thrift shopping is a sport ladies.

Winter thawed a bit today, which was amazing! I walked along Prospect Park in Brooklyn and watched the snow melt. Cannot, cannot, cannot wait for spring! I went to a little shopping party at Cynthia Rowley last night and bought an amazing spring/summer dress. I am counting down the days until I can wear it! There is a shot of it on Instagram, but I am already dreaming of outfit combinations!

In the meantime, still dreaming of spring in the city! It is my favorite time of year here. They plant tulips everywhere, everyone wears bright colors, and restaurants whip out their outdoor tables so people can get brunch outside. (Plus it is during these months that my electricity bill is the lowest it gets all year…no heat or a/c y’all!)

Spending the weekend on Long Island to spend some quality time with my aunt and my grandma. We are going to do a paint and wine class because they are adorable and decided to book one. Have you tried one yet? They are super cute and fun, even if your art skills at a kindergarten level (like mine).  I hope you all have a fab weekend!
