I have been wanting a giant Carrie Bradshaw-eque midi skirt (from Tibi!) for what seems like YEARS (though it had probably just been a few weeks). I just wanted to walk the streets of NYC and twirl at opportune moments while I pretended I was on Sex and the City. When I found this skirt on Choies.com (for $22!) in a fabulous Christmas color, I knew it was a done deal. I felt so lady-like in this skirt, which perfectly accentuates your waist. Its really the ideal holiday skirt. Besides the festive color, when you eat a bunch you can’t really see your stomach bulge out from the giant bottom (key). I decided to make a flower crown to go with it, just for fun. I have been seeing them all over, and just love the feminine aesthetic. It seemed like a great long-weekend-project and was relatively easy. Perhaps I will do a tutorial…
I hope you all had lovely Thanksgivings! I can’t wait for all the holiday inspired posts to come this month! This truly is my favorite time of year!
