If you live in New York City, you know that waking up on the weekend for brunch after a late night out is basically a weekly tradition. Personally, after I’ve finally pried my eyelids open, I want to put as little thought as possible into what I am going to wear. Nothing is quicker to me than a dress or a romper, slip it on and you’re out the door. I love the delicate floral print on this one, plus it matches my Brahmin Duxbury, which you all know if my new favorite grab-and-go bag.
I got this romper at a clothing swap party that my girlfriend hosted. If you don’t know what a clothing swap party is, after I tell you I guarantee you’re gonna want to throw one. Basically, you clean out your closet and get together with all of your girlfriends and drink wine while you trade the stuff you don’t want anymore. At the last swap I scored this romper, a faux fur collar, a silver Guess vest, a sequined beanie, and a silk top. Plus I got rid of a ton of things I wasn’t wearing, which freed up space in my closet (which still doesn’t close which may mean it is time for another swap). This is a great way to refresh your wardrobe for free!
