Florals: They Aren’t Just For Grandma’s Curtains

Ever since starting The Stylephile, no matte how crazy life has gotten, I have posted three times a week for well over a year and a half. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had stagnated a bit with blogging for the first time ever. And I love blogging so much it never felt like a chore before, but lately in many ways it has. And I feel like this is something that all women go through. Yoga pants have been my family wardrobe lately, and I have been working and traveling so much they are just such an easy go to.

I’ve never been the kind of woman who was mindless about how I dressed, but for the first time in my life I have been a little lazy. Women who love clothes do so because it helps them express who they are and how they feel, and for me being in a rut was being expressed far too much in my wardrobe. It is amazing the difference that wearing something bright and flattering can have on your demeanor. This floral romper and comfy heels really made me feel the energy I hadn’t been showing in my daily life. It’s crazy what a boost of energy one can get from putting a little time and effort into looking a way that makes you feel confident. Playing dress up is really my favorite pastime, when I have the time to do it. What do you wear that makes you feel your most confident?
