Goodwill Hunting

I cannot stop wearing this Trina Turk coat that I miraculously found on a Goodwill rack for $30. Full disclosure, I plan to wear it to NYFW on Saturday with this UNBELIEVABLE jumpsuit I rented from Rent the Runway. Sometimes your favorite clothes come from the most unlikely places. However, I am starting to feel like maybe Goodwill is a place I should expect to find amazing pieces on the regular.

Fashion Week began today, and despite the fact that I braved going the whole day without a coat, (something I would only do during Fashion Week) I think we are off to a great start. My first show of the day was Tadashi, and it was comprised almost entirely of swoon-worthy super-feminine princess gowns (hopefully a few of which will wind up available on Rent the Runway). The first day of the week I almost always go all out with sky high heels and a crazy head-to-toe look, but the ice and snow made me opt for an on-trend knee high boot look thankfully involved flats.

When I finally got home just a few minutes ago I realized I had never eaten dinner and that I went a whole day in February in Manhattan with just a blazer as a coat. Every Fashion Week is different and full of the most unforeseeable surprises. Check out my outfits on Instagram no for a play-by-play or back here on the blog in detail next week!
