Holiday Style in Sapphire

Red and green are great options, but you will definitely stand out in a bright blue dress! This feminine midi dress from Lulu*s is great for any holiday parties (be it Hanukkah or Christmas). It is also great for work, dates, and happy hour, making it an all around PERFECT dress (and at a serious bargain)! I belted it was an old Betsey Johnson belt for a little holiday sparkle and accessorized the rest of the look to match.

In my personal opinion, if you pair something with metallics it will look holiday-themed. Gold and silver are my favorite colors of the season, much more so than red and green. Try it, seriously. You can pair jeans and a t-shirt with a gold statement necklace and heels and look ready for Christmas. It is almost fool-proof. Also, with a network of multi-faith family and friends, I look festive no matter what event I am attending (which this year runs the gamut of everything from high school reunion to Romanian holiday party).

Side note-I have bought the most epic pantsuit from Lulu*s for my reunion and I CANNOT wait to style it for you guys. I wanted to do it yesterday, but Anabella loved it too much that we want to plan a super special location and such. She’s so smart. Also, those editorial style shots are my favorite, for two reasons. One, they are usually inside, and lately I am perpetually freezing. Two, we get to be really creative and put so much more thought into them.

Stay warm this weekend, friends! I will be out shooting with some blogger babes for an exciting feature I will be sharing with you soon! Stay tuned! xx
