When I saw the short and top in this post on the Rebecca Taylor Friends and Family Sale I immediately envisioned them together! They aren’t a set, per-say, but they sure look like one! I waited to wear them in Florida, because they so much reminded me of my hometown. The beachy colors and high-end fabrics are so evocative of a Palm Beach lady. Add my thrifted hat and I am ready for a day of shopping on Worth Ave (Palm Beach’s most famous shopping strip)–as if I could afford anything on that street.
Being back in the city is nice, but also stressful. I am really working hard to expand my reach as a writer, because I love it so much. And I have a ton of summer goals; I want to work out more, spend less, drink less, eat out less…usual stuff. But my eating out less has inspired me to do at least one recipe post per week, so stay tuned for that! I love cooking for summer more than any other season! I like big salads and things that have watermelon in them and such.
I also want to feature more of the fun events that I get to go to through Joonbug on here, it is a really cool side of Manhattan most people don’t get to see! Hope you’re on board, because I can already tell it is going to be a crazy summer!
And here is a gratuitous pic of me kissing my boyfriend. 🙂
