It’s all in the Details

I am obsessed the leather trend of the past few years. I remember in high school, anything besides a leather jacket was seen as so tacky. Now it is just one of my favorite fabrics for looking instantly chic and pulled together! These pants are Citizens of Humanity, and I magically found them for $55 at Designer Resale (my favorite consignment store that I was going on and on about last week). You can wear them with anything, but I obviously needed even more leather with this look! So I chose to wear this waterfall sweater with leather sleeves to make that happen. Little leather details and some staple accessories can make a big impact with very little effort! I was fortunate enough that my friend Nick Harbaugh took all these beautiful shots by the East River for me!

I am so excited to go to Florida to visit my parents this week! I plan to tease all my northern friends with an Instagram full of palm trees, Mexican food, and beach photos. I can’t wait to take a break from a cold! This week marks mine and Nick’s 3 year anniversary, as well as our 1 year anniversary with New York. It is ironic because I will be going back to Florida. Sadly, Nick and I won’t even see each other until I get back. But this has been such a year of change and growth for both of us. It is friggin’ cold, but I am so in love with New York, and even more so with Nick. Happy Anniversary to you both! 🙂
