I gotta brag a little about the ridiculous sales I am sporting in this post y’all. (Yeah, I said y’all…I went to college in the south.) But seriously, these boots one of my favorite thrift store finds of all time. They are Miu Miu knee high boots that I bought for $55! And they were in my size! I looked around online and the most similar pair of Miu Miu boots currently available cost $1,450 at Barney’s. I’m so in love with them. They fit a but tight around the toes, but I’ll stretch them out. I wrote an article about my top picks for thrift stores in the city, you can check it out here. I have found some amazing pieces. If you are willing to do a little digging and get some things altered, thrifting can amp up your wardrobe in amazing ways!
The coat (pictured below) is maybe 6 years old. I bought it at Macy’s for $25…no that is not a typo…$25. It is so warm and the color is just stunning. It was originally $150 and I got it at end of season mark down and have worn it every winter since. The romper is another Yumi Kim piece that I got at their sample sale last week. It is still available on their website in a ton of colors and prints. What I love about it is that it has an amazing fit. The fabric is a little bit loose and falls in a really beautiful way that I haven’t seen with other rompers. Plus it has a little snap over the chest so you can control how racy you want the neckline to be! I love this detail because this look could go from day time shopping to a night time look (literally) in a snap.
