Today was 55 degrees and it was like I magically fell in love with New York again. It was amazing. I ate lunch in the park with friends, I wandered the streets without fearing frostbite, and I ate dinner outdoors and people watched. I know it is supposed to be cold tomorrow, but I felt so unreasonably optimistic about the weather for the rest of the season today. Something about how lively the city is when the weather is bearable makes me so happy. The weather called for the lightest of layers so I opted for this easy but trendy look. I just bought these Peter Fox shoes and I was dying to wear them. They remind me a bit of something Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What. I love her sense of style, but never find it quite girly enough for me to dare trying. I really admire a woman in men’s wear, but I have an always will be a girly girl. This outfit feels a bit boyish, but I add accessories and florals to keep it “me.” I love the look of the cream leather of the shoes and jacket with the black leather-look pants.
Also look at my beanie! I ordered it online for $13 and am going to wear it every day for forever. 🙂
