Ocean of Ombre

Ombre is such a great trend. From clothes to hair, the subtle color shift is a classy yet bohemian print that always seems to catch my eye. This dress was no exception; and the maxi cut made it particularly enchanting. The cool thing about ombre is that it elongates a silhouette, emphasizing length instead of width for a subtle slimming effect. It can also be dressed up (as I did here) or paired with leather sandals and a beach bag for a really played down look. I’ve linked some of my fave ombre options below so be sure to click through!

I can’t believe it is already August! Summer always seems to feel shorter than winter to me. I wait all winter for the heat, and then it is over in the blink of an eye. As awesome as all the profile collections have been, I am just not ready to incorporate layering back into my wardrobe. I am such a Florida girl at heart. What are you guys looking forward to about the cooler months?
