In honor of the city’s first REAL snow fall (we’ve had some flurries so far this season, but nothing like yesterday) I decided to
break some fashion rules follow in one of the past few seasons’ biggest, yet most subtle trends. Everyone who loves fashion has heard that it is passé to wear white after Labor Day, but somehow this former fashion faux pas has become a huge fad.
“Winter White” has been on trend for the past several seasons, yet people still talk about it like it is out of style because the adage has been told for so many decades. If you haven’t been brave enough to go all out, make 2015 the year you jump on the bandwagon! It is such a crisp and refreshing way to dress this time of year. This mini skirt will most definitely be a favorite of mine come spring, but it is nice to not have to wait that long to wear it! I kept warm with some knee high boots and a giant scarf, but white jeans and a big cable knit will work just as nicely on days as cold as today (the low today is 6 degrees for those of you whom are lucky enough to live somewhere warmer)!
By the way, the mini skirt and the cable knit are on super sale! Shop the links below!
